Degree of skills / Quality of deliverable

In today's regulatory environment a firm requires the support of staffs that are highly skilled and experienced in specific areas of Environmental Health and Safety.

Companies need the staff with the skills to deliver on today's problems with limited need for management and direction.

Factors influencing the decision by corporations to outsource Environmental Health & Safety include:

Companies are struggling to maintain this talent. They need staffs that understand program development and compliance on a holistic basis appreciating the corporate goals, and objectives set by senior management.

The Redstone Group leverages extensive industry experience and a broad network with a seasoned professional staff.

We are staffed by Senior Professionals with extensive industry experience in the areas of engineering, regulatory, chemistry, environmental, toxicology, safety, health, transportation and international trade.

Our staffs are comfortable with global operations, having worked throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Additionally we have extended networks to provide local expertise around the globe. This is combined with a foundation in business operations as well as corporate engineering and EHS program development, implementation and monitoring.

We add value by integrating disciplines in multiple regulatory areas for optimal effectiveness in risk management, efficiency and cost effective solutions.

Flexibility

Providing EHS support across a spectrum of media (air, water, waste, etc) is a challenge to an organization, especially if the organizational staffing budget allows for a limited number of staff who must be able to perform in multiple areas.

Also, an organization must internally staff at a level adequate to address the ongoing needs of the firm as well as the demand for additional support in circumstances including expansions or new regulatory implementation. The use of external resources provides for flexibility in a changing environment.

Finally, churn in the internal staffs of an organization places extra demands on Management to identify, hire and orient talented staff.

The loss of a key staff member can place a substantial burden on the organization.

The Redstone Group has internal staff to address the multiple regulatory media encountered by industry.

In an outsourcing mode the client can pick 'ala carte' from experts in various media to obtain support from an expert at any time, as opposed to asking a generalist to work issues at a level at which he / she is not comfortable.

We have staff experienced in traditional EHS media such as air, water, waste, health and safety as well as other regulatory areas including FDA, DEA, Import / Export, TSCA, FIFRA and others.

The Redstone Group can also assign additional staff to support a client in times of increased demand.

Financial

The obvious alternative to outsourcing EHS or any other functions is hiring of internal staff to complete the tasks. For this reason the outsourcing mode must be cost competitive. Consideration should be given to the entire EHS 'spend', including internal salaries, benefits and other overhead

costs. Also, consideration should be given to the costs of employing staff at a level of experience significant enough to address all the associated issues. The tradeoff with the elements of skills and flexibility noted above needs to be considered.

The Redstone Group, LLC was founded by two industry executives each with an excess of 30 years business experience in multiple technologies managing functional areas of engineering, manufacturing, business, regulatory, environmental and safety at the facility as well as corporate and executive levels.

We have had P&L responsibility and understand the budgetary demands placed on our clients.

Our cost structure is such that we can provide the support of a highly experienced professional at a price that is competitive with internal staffing.

Redstone Offers the

Following 3 Options For Support:

On-site Staff

Redstone is in a position to place highly skilled EHS support staff on a client's site. This person(s) functions as member(s) of the clients team, even identified as the client's staff as required.

This group can consist of experienced EHS managers, generalists for overall co-ordination or functional professionals with experience in a variety of regulatory and operational media.

Retainer

Another option is an agreement of a retainer for EHS services. In this model the client and Redstone establishes a minimum number of required hours of support per period.

An EHS professional is defined as an Account Manager. The client calls upon Redstone as needed and a skilled professional in the specific media provides support. In this model the client enjoys the benefit of having a 'virtual' staff consisting of multiple professionals, while committing to a fraction of the cost of the equivalent full time staff.

The client receives a discounted rate for the agreed upon commitment.

Project Support

The Redstone Group is in a position to provide highly skilled professionals to support a client in any EHS media as well as other associated activity such as FDA, DEA, TSCA, International Chemical Control, Import / Export, Hazard Communications and others.

Support can be provided in areas such as management consulting, permit application and maintenance, M&A due diligence, third party auditing, management system development and others.

Beyond regulatory support Redstone offers Project Management professionals to assist in the development and execution of capital programs that exceed the client's in house skill set or resource capacity
